Zombie Christmaszilla Shoppers

If someone passes me another Christmas card to write or a Christmas gift to wrap I will probably end up in jail.

Don’t get me wrong I do love the old festive season, but when mother nature knocks on the door (i.e. That time of the month) I can’t help but put on my scrooge head on and be a bah humbug.

Hubby and son are in bed, whilst I have been putting together the last of my gifts. Don’t get me wrong I have all my gifts. I hope so anyway, and just when I thought I had completed all the wrapping of my gifts and writing of my cards, there is always that little pain in the arse gift or card that pops in your head, like a light bulb, saying “No one more, one more”, I am like “No I don’t want one more”.

I know, I know I didn’t have to buy that nice bottle of liquor and glasses or that nice coffee mug set, but I did. So got two more gifts to wrap by the weekend, and I will be well and truly done.

I think I am gonna be one of those crazy women from now on, who as soon as I find a Christmas gift, as I start looking from January onwards, and will start to wrap them up from January onwards, and make my Christmas cards from then on too, and buy some in the sales.

I just hate the last minute mad rush.

I avoid the high streets now, like the plague. All gifts are bought in advanced or I will buy most of them online. I just can’t bear long queues, I don’t even bother when shopping in my local Poundland if I can help it, if there is a big massive queue.

If I do shop in town, I do so early in the morning as soon as the shops are open, and midweek if possible when most people will be at work.

I will not even think about shopping at the weekends during Christmas as I know it will be busy and some have this zombie Christmaszilla shopping attitude, where they are so busy shopping and rushing, that they don’t even see you walking in front of them. NO. They walk into you as if you aren’t there.

Or they tut at you because you are waiting patiently behind them to get passed with your pushchair and look at the pushchair and then at you, with menace “What right do you have to have this child in this pushchair behind me?”, Like you own the cash point or the store, get a grip.

No sorry I do not like Zombie Christmaszilla Shoppers I call them, they only seem to come out at Christmas time. Every other time of the year, these people wouldn’t probably say a word but Christmas time, is a whole different ball game to these people.

They take no strangers and you better not get in their way or they will give you that look, as only they have the right to shop.

Well they are well and truly welcome.

So going to go to bed now as got a busy day tomorrow, but I will blog again in the next few days.

Many thanks for reading,

Off To See Santa

It is another Wednesday and in the middle of the week already. Christmas Day is closing in and today my son has his first ever Christmas party later today, so he will be at his nursery for most of the day today. Then we are off to see Santa Claus.

Check out your area news to find out when Santa will be visiting you,  so your children can pay a visit to him, before he delivers those gifts on the night of Christmas Eve.

I have done some of my Christmas cards, each year I get organised but I forget to send all of them, lets hope I can get them to every body this year as planned.

My hubby and I have decided we aren’t exchanging gifts this year, but we have bought bits for the home, I have bought some decor and I have seen some lovely bowls in Poundland which I want to buy and he has bought a carpet cleaner for the home. We have often done this or bought a joint gift, something we both want, instead of individual presents. Super idea when on a budget and it keeps items coming into the home minimal. That is going to be my aim for 2017, is clear more out, and have a minimum of stuff.

Today I have also been using the extra time I have to catch up on my journals. I have a Happy Journal, which is all about the things that have made me happy and my photo journal which is similar but has some sad events aswell but celebrating those we have lost too.

The one thing I do as it comes to this time of year, is to look back on the year and reflect.

What I enjoyed, accomplished, what have I learned and what I plan for the new year ahead.

My Happiness Journal purchased from TKMaxx.

My photo journal which I have created using this 2016/17 Diary from Paperchase.

I also have a notepad bought from Paperchase, which I use as a Bullet Journal. Another great way to list what needs to be done each day and what I have accomplished each day and week. Really helps when some days I feel that I haven’t achieved much at all.

So I am going to get back into it, and post some more blogs and plus going to add some sales and bargains to my facebook page

So make sure you go and check this out.

Until next week have a great rest of the week and look out for more blogs to come.

Many thanks for reading,

Damn Computers

Damn Computer

Yes I would have gotten this blog out sooner if it wasn’t for the computer not allowing me on the internet. Thankfully it was the question of doing a virus scan and a restart which solved the problem, but still a pain in the ass.

How long do we waste on our devices?

I know I do a lot, and I have a whole list of things I need to post and edit, but the laptop sometimes has other ideas.

It is amazing how something I never always relied on, and wasn’t a part of my life, now is.

When I can’t get on the internet. I am like shouting “Why Oh Why”, like it will answer me back in some way.

I think it is because the computer or laptop won’t answer back is why we get so annoyed. You want to have a good old row with it, to ask

“Why was you fine yesterday and today you have decided to be a complete technical git?”

I have before now slammed a mouse and slapped my laptop some what like it really is going to solve the problem, but it’s like

“Why don’t you understand I have work to do”

Now trying to sort out my computer only have a short bit of time to finish my midweek blog for today, before I have to go and pick up my son from Nursery.

Oh well, there is my blog post to do at the end of the week at

It is just annoying that I am now having to catch up what I couldn’t get done this morning, Ahhhhh. Nevermind it’s only technology.

Many thanks for reading,
