Is Football Coming Home?

Standard

Tonight’s the night, Semi Final time. Check out my blog post on wrote on my blog site https://sportsandfitnesspassion.wordpress.com

I feel I need to be careful about what I say as I in no way want to jinx tonight’s result, I just believe it will be a good game and we just have to play our hearts out, until we win it.

My favourite World Cup song for me, because it has such significance, it was when I first began to love football, was World in Motion. England’s World Cup song from Italia 90.

I still get goose bumps when I here Football’s Coming home.

I can’t end this blog without mentioning Nessun Dorma, my dad could not stop playing this song and always one of his favourites songs and mine too. It brings so many good memories.

What is your favourite World Cup song?

Went to the Cinema

Standard

Whilst it was boiling hot outside, my other half and I decided to take a trip to Wimbledon, have a few drinks whilst watching the football, France Vs Argentina, and then take a trip to the cinema.

Whilst watching the football in the Prince Of Wales Pub, I had a glass of Old Moat Cider, Cherry Berry. Very nice and refreshing drink that I had to take a photo. I would definitely have that again.

We decided to see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. The tickets were £19.25 each but we managed as it wasn’t busy to upgrade for free and sit in the Premier Seats. We went to the Odeon Cinema in Wimbledon.

The film was good packed with action and surprise, and it wasn’t too unrealistic.

You felt sorry, well I did, for the Dinosaurs, you wanted them to be saved, apart from the big one, which you’ll see if you go to see the film. I liked that there wasn’t too much romance, and it was about saving the Dinosaurs from being killed. I wouldn’t definitely see it again when it comes out on DVD.

So what have you been up to ? What films have you seen ? I would love to hear from you.

The Simple Life

Standard

End of another week, and it is unlucky for some Friday the 13th April 2018. I have decided that I really want a more simpler life, minimal, as I look around my home and it is still full of stuff I don’t really use and know it will do good being some where else.

I will update my seasonal clear up page on Carriesrealworld.com

As we go through some changes, it is time to change my home around and go for the minimal approach. I have a room next door full of craft staff, but am I really going to get around to using my craft stuff? Probably not, so might donate these to my mum for my nieces to play with.

As I clear up I have been enjoying the new song by George Ezra called Paradise. Check out below:

Yesterday we (my mum and I) took my son and my niece to Eddie Catz, in Wimbledon. It has a big softplay area, for smaller to bigger children, a cafe, disco room and basketball court.

I would recommend for mums these centres as they are great for all kids of all ages. Cost about £17 for all of us, but was a good morning out.

Now I am going to sort my washing out and chill until I have to pick up my son from nursery. It is a gloomy day but going to enjoy my bit of walking I do on a Friday enjoying the outdoors. I will blog again next week.

Relieved about Christmas

Standard

It is two days since Christmas and I can already feel the relief that this year is all done. Well almost. Next it will be new years.

I try to avoid the shops this time of year because how busy it all gets, just too many people, and a lot of rushing around.

I just want to take it easy post Christmas and make the most of the time I have with my family and husband.

I also like to have like I do from Autumn to spring is have a clear out. Today it was clearing out my inbox to one of my google email accounts. It just gets so out of hand.

It feels good to have a clear out and I have decided, my first new years resolution, to go through my emails weekly and have regular clear out so it doesn’t pile up. I will be making more resolutions as I get nearer to the new year.

So how do you feel after Christmas? Are you like me and relieved?

Do you make new years resolutions? what are they?

I would love to hear from you.
