Visiting Wisley Gardens

Standard

Last Sunday as it was coming up to my nieces 11th birthday, we celebrated by having a picnic in Wisley Gardens.

Such a beautiful place to visit with it lovely flowers, plants, ponds and a cafe where you can have a drink and enjoy the scenery.

There is even a play area for children to play, but my nieces wanted to climb the trees there.

Inside this large green house is some lovely plants, flowers and a waterfall which you can walk under, and apparently you can get married in there too.

It costs about £14 to £15 for adults, families it is about £40 and about £12 for a large group of 10 or more per person, but it is well worth the visit.

Many thanks for reading,

Great Weekends

Standard

Picture I took up at The Epsom Downs, from the Beafeater in Tattenham Corner

I had a brilliant bank holiday weekend, spending time family. We spent sometime close by the River Thames, having a drink in Putney.

There some really nice bars in Putney along the river and along the high street.

Then we head a lovely meal up at the Epsom Downs on the Sunday in the Beafeater, and had a lovely Sunday lunch. Definitely would recommend.

Then last weekend, took Henry to Rugby Tots, which is great for children 2 years and upwards, and get to know their colours and learn some rugby skills, like scoring a try and kicking the ball. Then watched the Epsom Derby, this is great day out, watching some horse racing and you can take your own picnics along, whilst sunbathing (when the weather is nice, like it was).

The weekend just gone, my mum and I took my son to Hobbledown, which has some animals and kids playing areas, where they can climb, jump and slide. They even have an indoor softplay area too.

So good to have these days out, as it is good for those memories that last forever.

How do you spend your weekends?  Where do  you like to go? It would be great to hear from you and gather some ideas.

Many thanks for reading,

Meal Review and my day out in LONDON

Standard

Went to Bills restaurant in Epsom for lunch two Sundays ago and I said I would report back.

I had Steak and chips. Was nice, you don’t get much of a portion, for the price you pay, but still nice food. I had a lovely Honeycomb cheesecake, for dessert. Sorry for no picture, I ate it before I remembered to take one, but if I go there again, I will definitely order this again, at which I will take a photo.

See picture of my meal below:

I took photo after eating a bit of my meal, and just remembered to take a photo.

Today I took my son up London to meet my mum for lunch up in London, and spent sometime in St James Park, and found this gorgeous black swan.

I love taking the train to places in the week helps break up the days, and both my son and I get so much out of the places we go to.

St James Park is a gorgeous place to go and have a spot of lunch when the weather is good and the sun is shining.

I watched Strictly last night and wasn’t surprised by the result and loved the ending of Doctor Foster they have to bring back another series, and looking forward to watching more of Liar too, as there has to be another twist coming along.

I will be adding some new posts to my Seasonal Clean ups page, on http://www.carriesrealworld.com

As I go through the weeks aswell, so look out for those to come.

Many thanks for reading,
